INTRODUCTION
The sculpture’s design centers around the distinctive posture of the bowed - head rhino. The two prominent horns, curving gracefully forward and downward, become a focal point, their rough, textured surfaces meticulously crafted to mimic the natural keratin of a real rhino’s horn. The curvature of the horns, combined with the lowered head, gives the impression of a moment of reflection or a subdued display of strength.
The rhino’s muscular body is rendered with a sense of solidity and weight, its thick, wrinkled skin recreated through intricate carvings and detailed molding. The folds and creases of the skin add depth and texture, emphasizing the animal’s robust build. The legs, firmly planted on the ground, convey stability and power, while the tail, subtly curved and hanging down, adds a touch of natural realism.
